Chapter 8 : Gift for the Darkness

Savages !

I think that the most terrifying thing, was when Simon started talking to the"Lord of the Flies". Once Jack ran away fom his hunters, to go hunt a pig, Jack smells the dropings of the pig and tracks it down. Unfortunetly the pig is a female, the biggest pig theyve seen on the island yet. Once they come closer they see little piglets, that are feeding of her.

They first throw a spear at her, t seemed it didnt affect her or her piglets at all ! So the boys decide to thow another, apperantly it didnt affect her either. So Jack goes stabbing her and paunching her , till the pig dies ! The boys then do their chant "Kill the pig, Cut her throght, Spill her blood" Once the pig has been killed they do cruel things to her, for example open her stomach and throw her guts on a rock. After they cut, her head off and put a stick on it and give it as a gift to the beastie, called the "Lord Of the Flies".

So now where Simon goes and relaxes, is not a place full of blood, and now home of the lord of the flies. Everyone is now savage and wild and demoniac. I know none of them are perfects but the dont have to be so savage. All the rules are being broken so they should make taboos and they should be more demure.
