Chapters 10-12
Perspective of Mrs. Dubose
Oh my; these kids Jem and Scout Finch are crazy, what could have I said to him that upset him so much, all I said was speak the truth, his father Atticus is a nigger lover. Scout wears overalls, my god if her mother were alive she would have dresses on and not those dirty boyish overalls. Jem, oh god Jem Finch he's a little devil I cant believe he destroyed my camelia bushes. They always contradict me; they're so disrecpectful, they have told me I was cantankerous . I tell Jem Finch to be nice to me; I'm old and sick, but he just doesnt understand, does he?
Since he destroyed my camelia bushes; he came back to my house and apalogized. We made the compromised of him to come and read to me every day for a month. He brought his dirty sister, Scout Finch with him the first day.Im old and sick and I can oly stand a certain bit of time before I need more; its just lige agony to me. The reading helped me distract myself from the pain. When they first came to read I had to tell them to come claser they were unaudible to me.
The kids stayed with me an extra week and every day they stayed longer, it helped me keep my mind of that morphine. I needed distractions; any distractions are inconspicuous. I know I will die soon and so does my maid. I gave her a bos with a white camelia inside so she will give to Jem.

Good job staying in the character of Mrs. Dubose.
ReplyDeleteA couple of spelling mistakes and give more thoughts on Jem and Scout after you have started to connect with them for a month.
