Dear Journal,
A couple of days ago, I got really mad and started yelling. They pinched my specks ! But they were smart and made fire but then the fire got out of control and half the island burned ! Ralph and Simon have been building the huts, they work real hard. We really need them soon the little'uns are scared and frightened, I feel bad for them so I really want them to finish the huts, I will help but i can't no one will listen to me !


Some of the boys are hunters, most of them are from the choir. The little'uns don't help and they are errant, so it's up too us to do everything. Simon is really nice and he stands up for me when he can, hes a little,skinny,vivid boy he loves nature can tell and he is VERY officious. Ralph I feel has changed because hes the leader now. I don't judge him its a BIG job. I think we should stick together and look for food and if you go anywhere take at least two people with you, so we will survive.


The island can get out of control real fast. For example we've been here a couple of days and the island is half burnt ! I have a feeling if we don't get rescued soon we will have no food and no shelter we still have to finish them. We really have to be rescued soon.

POEM

Standing here, in the cold breeze
When we all try to make peace !
we choose a leader
ITS RALPH !
Once we've done that
we go and find a conch !
Then we go a blow it
All the little'uns come and are capering
we take roll.
Now, the little uns go and play on the ebullience island.
Half the island is burnt
because of the fire on the mountain
top.
Ive learned a lot from all the boys
and we will appreciate that !
